I really need to do more 'girly' things for my girls, I've decided. One of those things is making cute things for their hair. Here are links to several darling barrettes and such to get me on my way.

HERE is the link to a whole forum full of links to hairbow/hairclip tutorials. For example, there are instructions for making a bow like this:

I'm sure my girls would love for me to learn how to do these!

Dear Jilli Billi. I don't remember where I saw it. I can't even find it in my bookmarks, which I am so sure I did bookmark it, but go to your nearest fabric store and buy those buttons that you have to cover, put your cute fabric on the top and cover them and hot glue them, with ample glue to the top of the clip. It's so easy and makes a good use for your scraps. I haven't done this yet, but I have TONS of scraps and lots of stray clips running around the house. All I need is the buttons to cover.
