Cards for The Holiday House

I'm getting excited for The Holiday House coming up next week. It is a craft bazaar being held in someone's home, and they have a ton of awesome vendors lined up. I will be selling handmade cards, and other paper crafts if I can get them together. Lol! I took some quick snapshots of a few of the cards I have done. PLEASE let me know if some of them are really, really bad or ugly. Since I will be selling them  I want to represent myself the best I can. My feelings won't be hurt if you think they are lame. :)

I saw this tutorial forever ago, and every time I see my kids' bag of clothes that are too small for them I want to dig in and make one of these dresses. I thought I had saved the tutorial on this lil' ole' blog, but for some odd reason I hadn't! Gasp! So, I {finally} found the tutorial again, and I am posting it this time!!

This dress look SO easy and SO cute!!

Okay, this turkey is seriously cute and looks way easy to make! I wish I'd seen this earlier!

Free Christmas Cards!

So, I've started thinking about Christmas cards for this year, although I am horrible about sending them. But, "This year is going to be different", I told myself. Then I came across this AMAZING deal.

You can get 50 FREE photo cards from Shutterfly, just by doing a post about it on your blog. Can you believe it?! Pretty awesome, right? Sounds like I'm going to have to send cards this year!

I love the look of this one. It's called Modern Bliss. I think the little circle in the corner is so simple, but so cute. (By the way...these are not my kids, just in case you were wondering what the heck was going on.)

I also love this one. It's called Joy Sage Story Christmas. It just looks so classy to me.

And, if you're wanting to put more than one picture on your card, I think this one is darling. Actually, this one would work really well for us, 'cause there is a spot for 4 small pictures and one big family picture. Just put in a pic of each kid, one of the hubs and I together, and one pic of the whole family. Voila! (It's called With Love Chartreuse Christmas, if you're wondering.)

So, there you have it, folks. If you are wanting to some really cute Christmas cards, and get 50 of them FREE, just head on over to Shutterfly. They also have a bunch of fun gift ideas, too. I made Scott a book for our anniversary a few months ago and he loved it.

The Train to Crazy

I found an awesome new website. Well, new to me at least. It is called The Train to Crazy. She has a slew of great tutorials on there. I found her blog while searching for a ladybug wings tutorial for my daughter's ladybug princess costume. Isn't it funny what ideas 5 year-olds come up with for costumes?!

I really like the look of this little dress, as well as the skirts she has on her blog.
